IMPORTAND  NOTES:

  • All the Delegations must arrive on 9TH of December 2021.
  • The Hotels and the venue of the competitions will be announced as soon as possible. 
  • The time and the disciplines that will be held each day will be announced after the registration of the athletes by each National Federation. 
  • The registration of the officials, athletes, coaches and referees will be done via internet in  the new competition platform https://www.sportdata.org  of WPAF thus will be asked from each National Federation to send official documents in order to get a unique passcode to enter in the  platform.
  • You will receive detailed information on how to register your officials, athletes, coaches and referees on the Platform that must be kept for the smooth conduct of the Championship and your own service. Delegations that do not register their participants on the platform within the registration deadline, that will be announced in time,  will not be able to participate.

 

 

PARTICIPATION & FEES

Participation 50 € for one discipline/event per athlete and for each another discipline/event 20 € per athlete (for example an athlete who will participate in two discipline/event, will pay 70 € and so on)

Payment of entries must be made before weighing.

The Hellenic Pangration Athlima Federation will offer full hospitality to an official from each National Federation.

The Hellenic Pangration Athlima Federation will offer the participating Hellanodikes/Referees one meal for each day of the championship.

 

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

Each National Federation is responsible for its competitors (the control of non-pregnancy, as well as the gender control are placed under the responsibility of the National Federations) and must assume all responsibility for accidents and health insurance, as well as the civil liabilities for their competitors and officials, during the 7th European Pangration Athlima Championships 2021

The organizer of the European Championships, H.P.A.F. and W.P.A.F. will not be held responsible for any insurance related to the above mentioned matters.

The organizer of the European Championships H.P.A.F. and  W.P.A.F. has no liability for any claims of injury, accident, illnesses or death arising within or outside the competition, and travelling or other activities in connection with the event.

 

COVID-19 Protocol

 

The following are the rules for the start and proper conduct of the games a

ccording to the instructions of EODY https://eody.gov.gr/odigies-gia-ton-perivallontiko-katharismo-mi-ygeionomikon-monadon-poy-echoyn-ektethei-ston-io-sars-cov-2:

 

1. Athletes who have clinical symptoms (even if dim) e.g. cough, sneezing, a few myalgias, fever (even a slight feverish movement), sore throat, decreased taste and smell should not come to the sports facility but first contact the Championship doctor and get a medical examination if necessary.

2. The athletes will also undergo a thorough pathological examination by the WPAF doctor who will receive the medical history of each athlete, signed by the doctor of his National Federation. It will then be re-examined pathologically (temperature, oximetry, hearing, etc.)

3. The names of the incoming-outgoing employees of the facility will be recorded daily in the specially designed form. List of in-outs in the sports facility.

4. All athletes must observe safe distances (2 meters).

5. Technical staff (coaches, coaches, etc.) will also go through a pathological examination upon their entry.

6. There should be a common antiseptic (appropriate) when the athletes enter the facilities where the games are held and it must be used by all.

 

7. Locker rooms: open. Operation in accordance with the Instructions for safe exercise of Phase C in organized sports venues (from 13/10/2020) and the Unit "Locker rooms".

 

8. The technical staff and the athletes who will be present in all the areas of the facilities where the matches take place and the monitoring should wear an appropriate protective mask (excluding the athletes during the exercise)

9. Award Ceremonies: not allowed. However, an adjustment can be made and the athletes can receive their medals themselves from a table, without contact, without crowding.

10. Use of individual objects for each athlete e.g. towel, water. The Greek judges will have to bring with them sports shoes which they will wear only in the arena area and will be disinfected before the match.

 

11. In the weighing there should be 2 people per scale and 1 person in the secretariat.

 

12. The referee is obliged to have no contact with the athletes during the match, and at the end of the match he will determine the winner by lifting his stick (white-blue side). Also the Central Hellenic Judge will call a meeting only when absolutely necessary and in the objection those involved should keep a distance of 2 meters.

 

13. Only one from each National Federation will approach the secretariat for processing, wearing a mask and keeping the distance of 2 meters

 

Conditions for conducting individual sports competitions regarding the preventive control

1. Fully vaccinated athletes with a vaccination certificate or disease certificate (issued 30 days after the first positive test and valid for up to 180 days after the disease) are exempt from mandatory pre-race testing

2. Race screening can be molecular (RT-PCR) up to 72 hours before or with Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) up to 48 hours before the race. It is recommended that the immediate antigen test be performed on the day of the race or, if this is not possible, in the last 24 hours before the race.

3. If there are consecutive days of matches, e.g. Fri-Sat-Sun, 1 test before the first race. If the competition days are more than three (3) then 1 test every three (3) 24 hours.

 

 

 

 

COMPETITION RULES

The competition will be conducted in accordance with the W.P.A.F. Competition Rules and W.P.A.F. Referees Rules.

 

The National Federations-Associations may enter as many athletes as possible.

Competitors in Team System are allowed to participate in Agon Competition.

Age: Participating athletes must be born in 2006 or earlier.

 

WEIGH-IN

The official weigh-in will be done electronic the day before the competitions Friday 10/12/2021, 11.00 in the morning.

Control of weigh-in shall be the responsibility of the WPAF. Technical Committee in collaboration with local organizers. Athletes must present their official passport or ID card at the official weigh-in. Competitors who do not meet this criteria will not be allowed to participate.

 

 

ENDYMA CONTROL & BACK NUMBER

Approved Endyma: Competitors have to wear an W.P.A.F. approved endyma, white or blue in color, without labels or patches.

Back number: It is mandatory to wear the official EURO2021 back number, which will be provided by the organizers to the delegation leaders at registration. We will provide self-adhesive back numbers. Control of Endyma: The control shall be the responsibility of the W.P.A.F. Technical Committee in collaboration with local organizers. Competitors who do not meet these criteria will not be allowed to participate.

 

PARTICULAR RULES FOR WOMEN

Female contestants shall wear under the Chiton either a round necked plain white or off-white tee shirt, with short sleeves, made of non-rigid material, long enough to be worn inside the trousers, or a plain white or off-white leotard with short sleeves. No marking should be visible when the Chiton is done up. All other regulations must be adhered to.

 

 

 

 

 

HELLANODIKES

Each country should provide minimum 1 Hellanodikes for up to 6 participants, 2 for up to 10 participants and 3 for more than 15 participants. A penalty fee of 100 € per referee will be requested for not having the correct number of referees, as stated above, and collected by the organizer on the spot (this is a mandatory condition in order to participate in the draw).

Hotel bookings for referees must be included within the booking of the delegation from the national federation.

All referees must attend the referee meetings before start of competition (each day).

Attention: only the referees selected and qualified by W.P.A.F. Referee Committee may participate as referees at these championships.

Neither the organizing committee nor the WPAF will be held responsible for not respecting this obligation! However, if there won’t be enough referees for the competition to take place in proper conditions, W.P.A.F. may decide to complement the pool of referees with national referees of the organizing federation

 

COACHING

a. Only one coach, who stays at the limit of the contest area during the match seated on a designated coach chair, may assist contestants.

b. If the coach exhibits misbehavior towards the athletes, the referee, the audience or anyone else, the referees or head referee may decide to make him leave the area reserved to the officials for the duration of the match.

c. If the misbehavior continues, the referees or the referee committee may decide to make him leave the official area for the whole event. Coaches must behave in accordance with the WPAF Organization Rules.

 

ANTI-DOPING CONTROL

There will be anti-doping control, conducted by the official anti-doping authority.

 

 

VISA

The organizer will help any country with obtaining visa for athletes and officials. For nations who need visa to enter Greece, please send to the organizer as soon as possible (latest 15 November) a list of participants with full names, passport numbers, date of birth, and functions (athlete, coach, official, doctor etc.) using the visa application form. Costs for express delivery (DHL, UPS, etc.) are to be paid by the participating national federation.

 

 

 

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

A maximum of two people per country, with only one person (the national delegate) with voting right.

There is no participating fee for the Assembly. Each national delegate must have a signed mandate from the National Federation. The General Assembly is scheduled for Suturday 11 December 2021, 20.00 p.m.

 

 

FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLE

All National Federations, officials, coaches and athletes participating in the European championships have to respect and accept the authority of the WPAF and local officials, the statutes, the sports and organization rules, the refereeing rules of the international federation, as well as the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) rules.

.

 

AWARDING CEREMONY

The medal ceremonies will not take place according the Greek Committee of  HYGIENE PROTOCOLS COVID-19, if the committee allows the awarding ceremonies it  will be held.

.

 BEST ATHLETE

WPAF and the organizer will reward the most technical athlete with a Most Technical Athlete Trophy to a participant of the EPAC (athlete) for recognized outstanding technical prowess and a flawless display of sportsmanlike behavior and etiquette, beyond expectation and demands of the rules.

 

FAIR PLAY

WPAF will award a Fair Play Trophy to a participant of the championship (athlete, coach, referee, technical crew, team official etc.) for recognized outstanding ethical or sportsmanlike behavior, beyond expectation and demands of the rules.
